Prince in Vegas DVD Is it worth getting?? I keep seeing it everywhere and am wondering if I should get it??? Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together | |

If you like any of the sounds on the ONA live album, it is well worth getting.  If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

Personally, I think the music is tighter than the One Nite Alone... Live album so in that respect it's definately worth it. However, as some have mentioned, the picture quality is quite poor. It was filmed by 4 or 5 hand-held camcorders supposedly to give it that spontaneous 'bootleg' feel. Plus it's also somewhat dissapointing that we only see about 1 hour of a 3 hour show. Try and track down the Musicology DVD on eBay. It's a darn sight better than this fairly average show.

Decent music. Cool version of Whole Lotta Love. Horrible... I repeat horrible picture, editing and flow.
Pick it up from a reputable Amazon second hand seller for under $5. Prince won't get a cut from that sale. He doesn't deserve it. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

it was a badly fitted wig. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I actually didnt have this until I saw it in walmart for 9.98, I could not resist this. I have watched it probly 5 times and love it ALOT! I love Push and Pull and then when he says "colorblind yall" and breaks into whole lotta love by led zeplin. I also love Family Name! It was definately worth getting for me!
