Predictions for 2008

Hey, what are your realistic predictions for 2008 with Prince? Can you see any releases? What I'd like to see would be a release of an 02 show, it's about time he has a top notch live album on DVD!

Because Planet Earth came out with the newspaper, I wonder if the songs were just throw aways. It'll be interesting to see if he can release another studio album which will make it three albums in three years (2005 being an odd one out)

Using Prince's last 3 albums as a guide, I'm predicting heaved up portions of purple mediocrity.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

i think that hes next album will be very different.

the last 3 were all sort of the same, around 12 songs, simple pop/funk/rock...etc

this one will be live, or jazz or something think

or, what about an npg record?? with no prince ans shelby on lead voccals?? id love that!

Definately a DVD of the tour. It's about time. No Dubbing just let the music play!

Another Album. Just keep them coming. I love them all. hearing Prince play C+D live at the aftershow made the album better for me! Kat has always told me it was a great Album, Just can't listen to Right the Wrong tho!

His website to re-open allowing us to buy merchandise once more. Rather than pay over the odds on Ebay!

I really would prefer that Prince experiment more in the near future. The chart-pandering attempts are getting embarassing. He's not young, fresh nor important to the market he keeps dry humping.

Live shows are a whole different beast. Nostalgia sells.

His new music just (horribly)retreads a much better back-catalog.

I thought that with the 21 nights being such a big thing, then I had been wondering if he could have been able to put out a DVD before Xmas, it would have been a good time to do it.

I listened to Lovesexy and 3121, and The Rainbow Children, a couple of days ago, and Planet Earth last night. I love the variation in Prince's music...

I predict...whatever Prince does, will be another great collection...to add to the shelf, of musical emotions.

Well, it's 30 years ago that Prince released his first album, I wonder if he finds this a reason for a party.....

Happy 08,
