We all know he was spotted on stage with Barry Manilow at Bunkers in Minnesota last week.

I'm just curious if my fellow orgers from Minneapolis know the answer to this life-saving question above.

Prince dropped in on The New Congress who play at Bunkers in Mpls last week. And after seeing them live this week, i can guarantee You that there is no comparison that You or anyone in their right mind could make between them and BM.

My first thought once they started to play was 'no wonder Prince was here checking them out!!!!!' The New Congress brings new meaning to the word music and i guarantee that this is a band of real Musicians playing real Music! The six band memebers were in perfect unison and had the whole place hoppin. I couldn't believe my eyes as they didn't miss a beat and each individual was a master of their instrument and sound. They played like a fine tuned clock with many sounds. Truly Amazing, anyone who says differently hasn't seen or heard them play.

I don't want to invade P's privacy, but I don't think knowing if he has a house in Minneapolis is doing that? He's always lived there, so I imagine he still does most of the time, and probably always will - good! Oh, and I'm sure it is very comfortable and beautiful too....

If this is true, agreed!

People seem to get so greedy when it comes to divorce (speaking from personal experience of friends etc.)

he still has property near paisley park but he did tear his house down. there is a little security house still standing there but no house.

Well, you march your butt up to the top of this thread & read what every word that Christaro wrote to get this thread going. I mean, he went thru all that trouble to start up a subject, all for the benefit of sparking a discussion that would, hopefully, keep us , if not entertained, at least busy for a bit on this wonderful yet quiet Sunday afternoon....

The house down the street from Paisley Park is torn down. I was just out there about 6 months or so (I posted it). I live in MPLs but I haven't had the time to drive back down. It has crossed my mind but time....you know.

I hope the brotha had a pre-nump. I hope the JW stuff didn't provent him from having a "contract."

That seems to be his m.o. with the ex-wives. Purchase a dream house in a foreign country. Get a divorce and she gets that house. In another country. Not a bad tactic actually..

I live in mpls and i went to High School in Chaska about 2 miles from Paisley. I graduated in 1991 and so you can imagine the memories. I will not go down that road knowing that his yellow estate is no more... Unfortunately the whole damn area is so different now it makes me sad. I took my family many times to lake Susan nearby to go swimming this summer but I refused to go by PP. I heard he has a place in Canada somewhere. I really don;t think he is in mpls much anymore.

Maybe, I have the answer to the initial question.
1-The waitress from Applebee's told me Prince owns quite a few houses across the street from where his former house used to be. Larry Graham and his family live in own of them and I think one of his drummer lives in another one. Maybe he stays in one of those houses.
2- He could also be staying at Paisley Park. It's all remodeled and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a suite in there for him to stay while he's in Minneapolis.
3- Chanhassen is growing too rapidly and considering Prince likes his privacy, he might only be coming to work and leaves right after that.
4- I haven't seen the New Congress yet but I like Dr. Mambo Combo playing for 20 years on Sundays and Mondays. Seeing Michael Bland and Sonny Thompson play is a real trip to heaven

you used to be able to see his house on google earth, but i haven't looked for about a year

i thought it was his folks house that was torn down?
