I'm pretty sure it's 4, he was also on in 1981 but you can find out on their website, in the archives.
Wanna see "Electric Chair"? smile

I think it was 3 times, right?

Party Up, remember Charlene Tilton was the host. They're around the same height, right?

Electric Chair - who hosted that night?

and then um with Tamar and the Wack Twins.

Too bad he never did SNL back in the 1999-Around the World in a Day years.
I guess he figured he was too big for it then.

It was the 15 anniversary. But he was introduce by Jerry Hall.

21 February 1981 - 'Partyup' (Season 6, Episode 11)

This show was made notable by the use of the F-word. In the closeting credits one one the cast members said something like "I still want to know who the fuck shot me."

Prince was also slated to preform in the 90s but he canceled. In the show David Spade called Prince a "flake" a "Big old corn flake."

*from wiki: prince was originally scheduled to be the musical guest for the 1995 season premiere with host Mariel Hemingway but backed out at the last minute. David Spade poked fun at this in his "Spade in America" segment during the show. prince was replaced by Blues Traveler."

I love this performance--I was just watching it again yesterday! Prince is hopping around in his thigh highs like a crazy man and Fink is all robo-keyboardist. lol And give me Andre & Dez over Brown Mark & Wendy any day! Then at the end of the performance Prince knocks the mic over and everyone runs off the front of the stage (except Lisa who sneaks out the back). cool

I think Prince was making a reference to this when he performed Fury last winter--he knocks over the mic and exits the same way.

I can't beleive that David Spade called Prince a big old cornflake. (DS is NOTHING without Chris Farely anyway!)

And they replaced Prince with Blues Traveler? WTF? That's like replacing Madonna with Hannah Montanna!

He so totally needs to do that show again. It'd be wicked awesome if he hosts and is the music guest.

(And I love the '81 show. Was he really wearing sparkly blue "manties" under his jacket?)
I love a Man who:
Wears More Make Up Than Me.
Wears Four Inch Stilleto Boots.
Changes His Name To An Unpronouncable Symbol.
Who Changes His Name Back From An Unpronouncable Symbol.
Oh And Most Importantly, Who Is Sexy Little Drop Of Butterscotch
