I personally cant seperate them I mean there both musical genius (though its a given that prince is the better guitarist) and I love both there work.

I think Stevie's released catalog trumps Prince's. And, it's my understanding he has a mean Vault, too.

Stevie plays other instruments beyond the piano and harmonica, as others have already stated.

I think one does a disservice to talk about Stevie as only a musician. His efforts to push for a Martin Luther King Jr. holiday during the 1980s was an awesome thing to behold. His humanitarian efforts. Stevie has been such a force of positivity and social commentary THROUGHOUT his career.

He's a musical giant, yes. But, he's much more, to me.

Why is this even a comparison? They are both gifted in their own unique way. It's a draw.

I like them both. Isn't Stevie mostly R&B and soul..

I have to say Prince is that and a whole lot more, he is more experimental and adventurous.
