Worst use of Prince music in TV or movies

OK, this might not the WORST use of Prince's music but I felt it was pretty bad nonetheless. And it was more because of the song than the program.

Anywho, late last night (or was it the night before, I forget) I was flicking through channels and stumbled upon a late-night program on Fashion TV featuring scantily-clad (or even nude) models... and suddenly there was one "segment" featuring scenes from some strip-tease club... pretty hot stuff..... UNTIL "Mr. Goodnight" came on the speakers. disbelief Total mood-ruiner.

Got any other "good" examples of inappropriate use of Prince's music in TV and movies? Let me hear about it!

hmm, Donny Osmond singing U Got The Look on Miss America comes to mind.

Actually, the Miss America contestants once sang Play in the Sunshine! lol

And then there's the prince.orger who watched both of those things and wrote about it publicly.

Batman.

Didn't fit. Didn't work.

The best songs weren't featured in the film and the ones that were added nothing.

Wholly inappropriate match; and I love Prince and Batman.

The John Candy movie "Delirious"...the song is played early on in the movie but I still don't have any idea why they named a movie about John Candy trapped in a real life soap opera town after the song.

I always wondered about that too...i figured the song and Eddie Murphy reference probably got more people to watch the movie than if it was called "My Life is a Soap Opera"

falloff sad but true. not a good movie at all and even the music sequences aren't that good. the soundtrack would've kicked ass if it was just a "prince" album instead of all the guest spots whose songs all were bad or were, or at least should have, been put on their own respective albums.

In the NYC area, 1010WINS- an AM news station- uses "I Wanna Be Your Lover" as the background music for the promo for their online broadcast. I've always thought that was a little strange. confuse

(okay, after I pushed "send", I realized the title said "TV or movies", but I still think the reference is odd... cool)
