One Nite Alone CD......Priceless!  ...I think One Nite Alone CD is one of THEE most beautiful peices of music I have ever heard...A blend of classical mixed with lyric yet...still PRINCE...PRICELESS! Prince, keep on writing man...your words are very precious. I work in a studio, that belongs to a very religious guy (Jewish) and most of the musicians there are also strict religious. a few days ago, I spoke to an amazing bass player, who recorded a jazz album in our studio, and he told me that he was a great Prince fan before he was religious. He still has a lot of the new albums (Rave, Emancipation) and when I played him One Nite Alone...he was in love with the music again. So on thursday we sat in the studio, and we listened to Prince songs for about 7 hours straight. He was laughing, saying "who would believe a religious guy like me would be listening to Prince?". When he left, he said that this experience, will have great effect on his next album. He also said many things about Prince, his soul, and the greatness of the person. I couldn't believe that a strict Jewish person would say such great things about Prince, who is not even Jewish. Especially someone who is a great musician. He's one of the best bass players I've ever heard. I hope Prince will have a chance to hear him one day. | |

Joni M. He covered and reinterpreted it. Not quite written but still Prince should take much credit for the beautiful sound of the song, especially as it is so different to the original (which is better is anyone's guess). | |
