Yummy! ok,I detest pineapple, it is a disgusting fruit, cant go near the stuff, coconut i like, but only in small amounts, I guess i dont really like sweet things, but Rhubarb, yummy, as a kid i used eat the stuff raw, rhubarb jam, has got to be one of the most delicious spreads ever, and a rhubarb tart, mixed with some crab apples, mmmmm I guess you could say i like rhubarb, but i even like it as a word Fresh Pineapple always seem to cause an allergic reaction I really like Coconut Pineapple Haagen Daz. Yes, it is sweet but the sour taste of the rhubarb cuts it perfectly ! Yummy!

Sadly, that's the first thing I asked myself when I read the title of this post. nice of you to share such a thought, maybe reading further than the headlines has helped, otherwise your nickname is in trouble OR was that an attempt at being humorous No more than any post of yours is an attempt at being intelligent. Try harder next time. And thanks, though. It'd take someone with a grain of intelligence to see that Prince is not making news for his music these days, so I guess that rules you out.

The way I see it is that any country has its little child geniuses, be they playing music, writing poetry, etc. - it's just that we don't hear about them.
It's one thing to produce 10 year old prodigies, and it's an entirely different thing to promote them. So I would say America is great at promoting its talented kids [show business and all]. We import manufactured goods, we export love?

If the girl is smart she'll stay far away from Prince. Working with him as an "undiscovered" musician is the like the kiss of death....one album and *poof* they vanish into musical oblivian...

I love to see little people "break all the rules" (in a good way). Such poise and timing! Just before she began playing "Alicia" I couldn't help think that she was a minature. A.K....then she busts out with If I Ain't Got You.
Let's hope the very best for her and her family.

Just stop. Making a JW comment about this girl is not called for.
Prince has no power to convert people so stop worrying. ----- viewaskew said: Whitnail said: nice of you to share such a thought, maybe reading further than the headlines has helped, otherwise your nickname is in trouble OR was that an attempt at being humorous No more than any post of yours is an attempt at being intelligent. So many out there, including sometimes parents, see things more often in terms of untapped dollars rather than untapped childhood. She has a unique talent that's probably world class at 10, but that surely doesn't mean she'll be world class at 20, 30, 40 or 50. Can she do more than mimic and show a natural talent for musical instruments? Who knows? Let her develop, let her find out who she is, let her play with dolls. Often times this is little more than precociousness. She's good for her age, but if she doesn't keep developing at an incredible rate, this is not much. She's not great for someone 20 who is passionate about music, for example. And ultimately songwriting is where it's at. So you either find great songs or you develop naturally into someone that should to be heard. Just imagine if Prince had been paraded around as a child, he may have never developed into the gigantic musical talent we see today. And, besides, those that possess the most potential, are often those that are so deeply talented that you'd never be able to recognize/categorize it so easily, so quickly. Prince was a very poor performer in his youth, but he eventually became one of the greatest who ever lived. Who saw that monumental performance potential when he was shaking and mumbling into the microphone? Co-everything you said, Now that you mention Prince though, I can't help but think back to his appearance on Oprah. What did she do? Spoke to him in a high-pitched, sing-songy tone that was not her normal speaking voice, and repeatedly interrupted him to say how cute and pretty he was. Could that sort of behaviour just run with the territory of female talk-show hosts, certain personality types, or does that mean Oprah thinks of Prince as a child? Don't laugh, I'm (mostly) serious. I'm not a fan of Ms. O by any means, but I don't recall her speaking to a guest like that any other time I've caught her show. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Everyone that worked with him said he did not start out good but got good quickly. I have read nothing but praise for his performance ability as a teenager. meow85 said: Brendan said: It's a fascinating age that we live in, isn't it?
