And people say GD is crazy!

I'm out. People need to be cool and not try to think they are right.

Just because one person likes one version of the song and not another doesn't mean they are shit! It just means that they like the other fucking version.

People need to grow up.

Amen Brother!!!

Prince with Rosie---and it IS one of my very favorites!

Prince's version at La Coruna in 1990 is the best. Orgnote me.

Nah. His version on The Ellen Show in '04.

Sinead's version.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I'm torn. Sinead's was and is beautiful but it got played
a thousand times a day and it just lost something the 999th time.
The video is pretty special too and simple. I really like the video still
to this day.
I like Prince and Rosie's version but the truth is...
I always wish she was the only one singing. He's good on it
but Rosie makes you wish she was all alone on the mike making
it her own, and we all know she can.
I'm not really fan of him singing it on tour. It feels like
he's reminding the one guy in the baseball hat whose girlfriend
dragged him there- 'hey i wrote this one, case you didn't know
baseball hat guy'. Prince gave birth to this beautiful song, Sinead carried it
somewhere new. Should've stayed there with it's new mama, or with Aunt Rosie on
vacation. No where else.

A, then B.

i really can't stand D. those "oh oh oh oh's" that carry along the melody line are annoying and stupid.

Sinead really captures the complex dark psychology of the song. It is truly a brilliant composition but for some reason Prince does not want to probe that side. He turns it into a big band vamp instead of the achingly beautiful heartfelt sympathy card it should be. Maybe it's the same reason he killed "Wally".

I think Sinead´s.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."
