I think its easier to make it yourself.
Its may just look confusing to people or the cost of a decent espresso machine may be prohibitive.

I thought the same a while back (about it looking confusing) until I worked at a coffee, shop...It's ridiculously easy to make an espresso...

We're somewhat on topic lol

I normally make a latte at home unless I'm short of time; then I'll stop off and grab one but NEVER Starbucks; for me they make the weakest, stalest tasting drinks. Even adding extra shots doesn't really help much. Caffe Nero is much better (2 shots by default) but sometimes I get the odd bad one from them.

I rather surprisingly heard Mr Goodnight in a pub one night. Also caught Fury a few times over the last year in places I would never expect to hear Prince.
So look into the mirror, do u recognise some1? Is it who u always hoped u would become, when u were young?

Just another side note on the coffee for Starbucks patrons. They are now using 2% milk (lowfat) as the standard in all their drinks. So if you prefer whole milk in your steamers, lattes or hot chocolate...you have to tell them that's what you want. rolleyes

It was like that at the coffee shop I worked at (it was a small, local one, that no one probably has heard of). But we always asked what kind of milk they wanted. If they didn't specify (i.e. "i don't care") we'd give them 2%.

It's funny, cuz I do too. lol I always start singing along too.

My sis is funny because she knows I enjoy his music, so there has been a few times that she actually calls me on my cell to tell me she's heard a Prince song at a public place. It usually makes me laugh, so I'm OK with it.

I've also heard "What Do You Want Me To Do" and "Future Baby Mama" working there sometimes, not too often though. Co-workers look at me weird when I'm like "THATS MY JAM RIGHT DERE"

As for making drinks at starbucks; Its easy to make one, true, but its hard to make like 8 to 10 like nearly all at the same time

starbucks confuses me. in the uk, we have white coffee or black coffee. tht's the choice. neutral

I never heard of white coffee, but people say that white tea is very good.

Okay I'm goign to put all my responses in 1 reply:

1. White tea is very good Nancy.
2. I heard Chelsea Rogers in Nordtrom not too ling ago and had to stay to hear it before I left.
3. Starbucks is ridiculously expensive.
4. I do love their peppermint mochas during the holidays and will buy those.
5. I hate how they make you order, why is a small called a tall dammit? i have no patience for that BS.
6. Just the other day when my alarm clock when off, the first thing I heard was: "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here together to get through this thing called life." A little scary at firs, but then I had to laugh as any hardcore Prince fan would have at something like that happening.
6. Prince seems to come on alot when I am in the car with my boyfriend. His response,"We can't escape him. sigh"

Further proof that Planet Earth was a shit album...it's perfect background music for the most annoying coffee chain. Now if they played Superfunkycalifragisexy or Housequake or Erotic City in Starbucks...it'd be a different story. lol

I went into Starbucks today (as I usually do), and as soon as I walked in the door, the Prince song, "The 1 U Wanna C" started playing. It was like it was perfectly planned. I waited to see if the next song from the CD would start playing after "The 1 U Wanna C" finished, but it turns out that it was just that one song. Still cool nontheless.
