No, please do write. We want to know all about it--What happened at your first meeting? Was it love at first site? Is she as pretty as reflected in the photos? How tall is she? What did she say? What did you say? What was she wearing? What were you wearing? Was it night or day? Was there a special song that you heard when you met her? lol

What is a NSFW notice?

Not Safe For Work...Some of those pics are topless and could get people fired from their jobs if clicked on from a company computer.

Of course...said individuals could be doing their job instead of jacking around on the internet.

NSFW warnings bug me, because everytime I see one I can't help but think how relatively well-paid desk jobs are compared to manual jobs, and so many people with them are apparently fucking around on the internet while they're supposed to be doing whatever it is they get paid for. Do your fucking job, people. And if you get fired for being on an inappropriate site when you should've been working, I won't be crying for you.

If I had any say, NSFW warnings would be banned. Why should someone posting a thread have to be expected to babysit the slackers so they don't get caught doing what they shouldn't be?

I don't know about all that other stuff you said but I do know that some companies allow their employees use of company computers on their breaks, at lunchtime, and sometimes even before and after their shifts as long as they aren't looking at inappropriate material.

So I don't think it's right for someone to be on the Org thinking they're going to see a cool pic of the new chick in a Prince video and they click it just as their boss is walking by only to see naked tits and ass because the person posting didn't take a half a second to type 4 little letters.

That little warning also helps people who may not be at work but they're online somewhere that they'd rather not have pics of tits and ass showing up on their screens for all to see...like a public library, the middle of Starbucks, their mother's house, etc.

Doesn't matter. If you're not supposed to be online or on certain sites, you shouldn't expect other people to cover for you.

Besides all that, if a person is working salary isntead of hourly, they're still being paid for that non-work time.

You don't want people to know what you're looking at it, don't do it in public.

You don't want to chance being caught looking at something a little risque online at work? Don't go online. Simple.

Is there a reason people can't wait until they go home to go online? Why should they expect complete strangers to babysit them? What makes desk workers think they're entitled to leisure time on the company payroll? People in other kinds of jobs certainly don't get that privilege. Ask a kitchen worker or a construction worker or a daycare provder or a housekeeper if they need internet time. I realize sitting on one's ass all day is strenuous, unforgiving work, but come on.

Here's a novel idea: Take responsibility for yourselves. If you don't want to get caught, you shouldn't do it. How hard is that?

I think people forget that there are 13 - 16 year olds that are members on this site, who also participate in discussions here, as well as cruise these forums.. I'm sure parents can't be everywhere to see what they are doing. Maybe the mods need to reconsider and change the minimum age to 18 plus, especially if the mods are allowing some members of this site to post links to explicit images like that here...just something to think about.

A) There is no way to enforce an age limit.
B) It is the parents' responsibility if they don't want their children exposed to something. An entire website should not be expected to change or monitor its content for the sake of those who can't be bothered to take what they believe to be necessary precautions to shield their innocent little darlings from boobies. God forbid a child see a breast. If they don't like what their children see, it's really not difficult to block access to the site.

I know you mean well Meow and I get what you mean, but there are sites that do it, they may not be able to actually enforce it, but raising the age limit or at least, stating as part of their policy in the heading of the site or before a person opens the site, to state that certain material/images/links or statements made by members may not be suitable for NSFW or NSFM(Not suitable for Minors) wouldn't hurt. This way it shows the site took responsibility for the material they allow and made the effort to inform visitors, and if the reader chooses to open it, then it would be at their own risk and the site wouldn't be liable.

Sure it is, in a fantasy world, but we all know in the real world that isn't always the case, and those under 18 will find a way to get access to whatever they want in this society. Not every kid may has a responsible adult around to monitor what society exposes them to. Even at movie theatres they have a policy informing parents what movies may not be suitable for kids, as well as warning notices shown before some television programs, stating that a particular program may not be suitable for young people under a certain age. It's called social responsibility, but then again, we have a long way to go with that.
