Which is the better Shhh? Prince or Tevin Campbell?

I like Tevin's for the R&B feel and Prince's for the sensual rock feel, but since I heard Tevin's song first, I was use to that version for some time.

What do you horny people think?

Prince's recorded version is better. But, his version during that "Hong Kong" concert series (long live the former Youtube version cry ) was killer. His solos were something else.

I heard Tevin's first and I've always loved it but Prince's sounds more authentic. The guitar riffs are killer.

Prince!! He always does that when he gives somebody a song and then comes back and does it himself. He must KNOW he's gonna kill it later! LOL

I think he goes "Should I keep this or give it up?! Ahhh what the hell, all i'm gonna do is make a version myself and tear the song apart regardless, so they can have it shrug!!!" giggle

Prince wrote 'round and round' and 'shhh' for Tevin. The line ' do you after school like some homework' was inspired by Tevin's tender age.
Tevin's version was ok, but when it comes to sexy songs,I always have to go with Prince; nobody does it better than the master. wink
Prince recognized Tevin's talent and tried to make a star out of him, sadly he remained a one-hit-wonder.

With Prince's version, I can't see how anyone doesn't get the R&B/soul/sensual feel from the start of the song.

I prefer Prince´s version but I don´t like the studio version off of the Gold Experience. My favorite versions are the Beautiful Experience TV special live version and the NYC Palladium 1994 version. All other versions before or after pale in comparison.

Oh without question Prince's. I heard Tevin's version around this time in 1993 and I knew instantly that Prince had written it cause it was sreaming Prince. When I heard Prince's version the nest year, I was like hell yeah. Plus, it's more believable hearing it from Prince than Tevin.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I already did a thread on this, at the Housequake.com, site.

Tevin's version is more soulful. I hate Prince's version of Shhhh. The guitar messes things up.

I heard Tevin's version before I heard Prince's version. I, also, don't like Prince's version of "Nothing Compares 2 U". The Family's is better.

Prince let The Three O' Clock have "Neon Telephone" and he shouldn't have. That's the only Prince song that he's given away that can't be done better by anybody other than him.

I like both. I think the orgasm noises from the girl in Tevin's version as was kinda hot.
Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

I remember listening to Tevin sing it and saying the boy aint old enough! Then I was mad at Prince because he wasn't singing it.
