money don't matter 2 night. i first heard it on the very best of prince (the 3rd or 4th prince cd i bought). i felt like it was too slow and dreary to be a prince song. after listening to it a few times, especially on diamonds and pearls, it's alright. there were just a lot more, better songs to put on that disc. the video is cool, though (directed by my boy spike). i like p's cool, relaxed performance.

when it first came out, i thought "Cream" was alright, but never really got into the way most people did. still feel the same way.

i feel the same about "the 1 u wanna c" even though it does not fall in that "hit" category.
