So, Do You Think He'll Go? Prince being nominated for two Grammys... think he'll go to the show? It being the 50th Anniversary show and the fact (imo anyway) that he's got a good shot at winning in his categories... think he'll do it?
Don't forget... I'm going to the Grammy Awards show as a guest of a friend in the Radio business! I'd love to "run into him" at the show! (I hope he goes... I'ma dork...  ) |

I'm happy if he just shows up in the audience. When it comes to Prince, it doesn't take much to please me. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

Sure he'll be there.
Cuz he's nominated. He was nominated last year and he was there. Didn't win, unfortunately
They might even rig the votes so he does win regardless, so he'll give an explanation about his "attack against fansites"... I'd like to see him explain himself... somewhere along the lines of "I'd like to thank my supporters and my apologies for any trouble I caused on the web. I was just protecting my work and the use of my image. Nothing but love." doesn't hurt to hope for an explanation 
I want him to win just so he can get an acceptance speech, or just to see/hear him speak. He always says the most interesting things. He might even give us another lyric to "chew on" until next album comes out... you never know. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone | |

My prediction...Nope! Because he's not going to win in the televised category he's in. No, I'm not just saying that because I'm a battered fan either.
It's the truth, he's not. Don't believe me...call any of your local R&B stations and request they play 1 of 2 songs -FBM by Prince or B.U.D.D.Y. by Musiq Soul Child and see which one gets played.
Even if he were to win for "The Song of The Heart" which is still my jam, btw so that'd be cool with me! They don't televise that category! Ergo Prince = No show [Edited 12/11/07 9:31am] | |

When he won his Oscar, he walked up to the podium (scratch that, I believe Big Chick carried him on his shoulders) with his entire entourage, was handed his Oscar, and in his trademark low voice uttered a mere "Thank U", before turning and leading his entourage off the stage.
