Syracuse Shows Love 4 Prince On Power 106.9, Dr. Rick Wright just played "Controversy" in his Sunday morning old school program. Prince gets a lot of play on this station, and whenever Dr. Rick Wright plays Prince, he mentions the famous 1984 Syracuse concert that we all know and love... something like, "I still remember back in 1985... 46,000 people in the Carrierdome 4 the man"...
Am I the only orger that gets this station? Any upstate NYers in the house? Since I moved here from D.C., this station has been my "radio food"... They R heavy on Purple. Tons of Prince, The Time, etc... They even jam the New Jack Swing on Way Back Wednesdays... Peace. ~G "He's a musician's musician..." |

Peace. ~G In and around the New York City area (5 boroughs of NYC - Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island) and Long Island, NY stations gets a lot of Prince music - 98.7 Kiss FM; WWPR Power 105 - 105.1 fm, ;WKTU FM 103.5; WHTZ (Z-100)100.3 FM, just to name a few.
