With the exception of "Tambourine" I was wondering if there were anymore songs where Prince plays the drums.

Most songs before Diamonds and Pearls (when he hired Michael B as a drummer) have Prince on drums... Bobby Z only played on a few tracks... Sheila E on a few... Morris on a few...

rest is all Prince.

I love the drumming he does on "Darling Nikki", "I'm Yours", "Christopher Tracy's Parade"...

Seems like he's playing more lately, too. Far as I can tell he plays on some Musicology tracks.

Bambi sure sounds like prince and the engineers who did that album said there was nobody elese in the studio

I don't believe bobby did that track. His live drumming is nowhere near as good as that.

Prince on drums-priceless! A fave moment in the SOTT vid.

Prince has played and recorded drums on every album he has released, with only ONE POSSIBLE exception: 'Rainbow Children'.

Michael Bland stated (right here on the Org) that Prince even played drums on "Shhhh".

He plays drums on Sexual Suicide, Irresistible Bitch, the entire first madhouse album, Father's Song, to name a few out of hundreds of songs.

I really dig his drumming on Lady Cab driver, so funky!
