You know what is really disturbing ? When he manages to ruin a good song with embarassing instrumental breaks :

1 - The very end of "Holy River". WTF ?
2 - The guitar solo on "A Million Days". Especially just before the ad lib starts. Does he really think someone will not find this ludicrous ?

I'm sorry but u guys must not remember that disturbing 'Wedding Feast' interlude from Rainbow Children. That is probably the most embarassing, unlistenable, stupidest, and unrudly thing Prince has ever done.

Wedding Feast is :

1 - Part of a concept, and fits well into it.
2 - clever in a way, it's quoting Goerge Martin's production ideas (inserting some classical music gimmick into a pop song).
3 - a segue, it doesn't qualify as a song, does it ?

Cuz in that case, there are the Gold Experience ones that we can bash... "and improving self-esteem"...
