That's why I only post whenever I'm drunk and/or stoned out of my mind. I'm not built with the advanced type of coping mechanism that's required to deal with most of y'all.

It's not that I'm cold-blooded, I've had my problems too, but why do people ask this question? It's as tiresome as the "Is Prince GAY question". Every song that he's written is not reflecting aspects of his life, and what difference could the answer possibly make in your lives? Do you find some kind of comfort in knowing he has suffered too, why not point out some uplifting things.

Unless this is a new spin? Oh! Woods. The English might say that. to be honest, i never understood the expression, but it sounds amusing no matter which way you say it If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

How in the world did anybody interpret Prince's song "The Ladder" into being about addiction and alcoholism? It's about a soul searching for the truth/ the way up and out, but that could mean anything to all of us, but the ladder on the cd cover is pointing towarsds heaven, it's all in the bible all of it!

http://www.postfun.com/pf...adder.html Prince's father wrote the song, this is the meaning.
Jacob's ladder is emblematic of the way of salvation, which is like a ladder "set up on earth," its top reaching to heaven. Our GOOD WORKS, I'm done with this. [Edited 12/9/07 4:33am]

The English might say that. to be honest, i never understood the expression, but it sounds amusing no matter which way you say it It means this: "An expression used of someone who is too involved in the details of a problem to look at the situation as a whole" If you're ever in the woods, all you can see are the immediate trees around you, not the rest of the woods. The concept is transferred to a thought process.
