it should all about the sharing between fans. if prince won't share* with us, we have no choice but to share with others what we have.

I thought bootlegs had been dead for a while now, the internet killed them.

Good riddance to bootleggers who operate for profit. All it needs is one fan with recorder at a show cleaning up their audio and putting it online to share with other, thus cutting out the middlemen.

I think it sucks. I was a member of a Led Zeppelin forum ages ago and got tons of awesome live bootlegs for free. It was all free, just traded among fans. No one was in it for profit. It was a great system and everyone was happy to hear they're favorite band. It wasn't about money (for the band or fans). In fact, I've read several interviews where the member's of Led Zeppelin actually ENCOURAGED bootlegs as long as it wasn't for profit. I wish Prince wasn't so rediculous, and just let us do that.
