dont know about you guys but i love all of princes album, but this one is not that good, i love 1999,little red corvette and delirious but thats about it! what do yous think?? is it just me?

Those are like the 3 worst on there. The rest of the album is incredible. As a concept and everything involved. FOr me Iit marked the first full album where he found the FUNK and he's been jamming ever since.

1999 was like 100 years ahead of its time!

The music still sounds fresh (even though the production leaves a little to be desired)

It's maybe his best collection of songs. Nearly every one is a classic in its own way. And for those that want the daring Prince, Prince was never more daring. The songs stretched out forever, but they didn't get dull. The rock was at it's best, the funk was at its best, the pop was at it's best.

Prince's music got more interesting, but it might not have ever gotten better than on 1999.
