No, a VHS tape won't work in an NTSC player.

Two different VHS palying systems.

You can play with special player.

Interesting...You could call Salvation Army, or another second hand store, and have them send you an old machine to complement the tapes.

there are universal vcr's. that convert internally.

My one plays NTSC VHS tapes fine. I assumed any decent player sold in the last 10 years was a universal one. Before they all but disappeared from electrical shops it was hard to find one that wasn't a multi-format player.

I have searched high and low for a DVD of this, I have a VHS version, which is a bit scratchy and of bad quality.

Anyone know if this has ever been released on dvd?
