i just watched happy feet for the first time (i know, im way behind the times).

got 2 the end of the movie and started 2 get

and the rugrat says "mum, u dont want 2 watch the credits do u?"



thats all i bought the damn thing 4

has any one else purchased this movie just 4 the "song of the heart"


it is a great little movie - the music is an added bonus

it's a sweet song. i took my daughter 2 the pictures 2 watch...lots of little kids. i think i dozed off

I stuck the movie on my rental list a while a go online and it came through last week. I might watch it this week.

I loved the movie and all the songs and I bought it the first day it came out.

Hated the way they butchered Kiss, but Song of the Heart was cool. Weird movie IMHO....

Song of the Heart is one of the most throw away songs he's ever written.
It doesn't even stand out among other songs featured in the movie.

I mean, in general. Song of the Heart just didn't stand out.

The problem is that Prince is so good at hitting you with a song that you can remember forever (Little Red Corvette, Kiss, When U were Mine), that when he does stuff like Song of The Heart , a tune folks immediately forget after walking out of the theatre, it's just sort of underwhelming.

I almost was going to buy this movie the other day but didn't, and I was only gonna buy it for the song. I've also never seen the movie, yet.

I'm bemused why some don't like this film. I mean you brought it or rented it or downloaded it, yes?

It's a childrens animated film what were you expecting.

As far as animated films go it's up there with the best.

I've seen it twice now.

I took my 13-year-old niece and 6-year-old nephew. The 6-year-old was so bored he fell asleep and the 13-year-old and I sat there rolling our eyes at each other over the ham-handed political crap in it.

It was cute (if boring) as long as they were singing and dancing, but grew tiresome very quickly once the environmental propoganda kicked in.

There are tons of animated films that are better. Classics like Pinocchio, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty, and newish ones like The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo and The Incredibles. Any of these are better than Happy Feet, IMO.

Initially, I went to the Library with my little boy, saw Happy Feet for rental and was like I was saying "let's get THIS one, oooh THIS looks really good!" He kept saying 'No, I don't want that one', I was ready to strangle him!!

So eventually I had to go out and buy it!!
