It always amazes me with all these famous people when they pick Prince songs for lists how they always pick the same old well known ones!!! Dont they realize that theres more 2 Prince than LRC, RB, Kiss, Purple Rain, 1999, etc.???

If only these people knew what WE know!!!!!

Re the choice of songs, the fact of the matter is these people are songwriters themselves and the reality with P is that many of his most famous songs are also the most well-written - The lyrics/imagery in LRC is amongst his very best, Kiss is one of the most perfectly-crafted singles ever, and Purple Rain packs emotional punch.

More a case of if we knew what they knew.

I love Annie Lennox. Her voice is GREAT! She is one of the best and it doesn't suprise me one bit that she would like Prince.

Great, I love Annie. Little Bird was on when I made up my mind to leave a bad relationship. Her voice is beautiful. All this stuff shes doing with helping those with AIDS right now is great too, with the song 'Sing' if you buy it on itunes money goes to charity. The song 'Dark Road' from the latest album about her divorce is beautiful too, shes got a voice that brings out the emotion in her lyrics in a strong way. Can you tell I'm a fan...?
