I'm just wondering is this the era where he was trying to get out of his contract? This got me thinking and I'm spinning my theories; if it is the case that he was trying to get out of the contract, add to that anger, is it possible that he went to the extreme to get the record company to want to terminate the contract?

Now mind you, I wasn't following anything and I'm not good at following history, it boggles my mind, but with whatever I picked up from reading the threads here, this is what I gathered and not sure if it is pieced together right.

Is any of what I mentioned applicable to what I suggested? I hope that any of the hardcore fans will let me know.

Yes, that was the era nod But I genuinely think Prince was losing his mind nod He was angry, and who wouldn't be but he started that goth drag thing with Mayte, basically doing underground shows and babbling about pyramids, alternate personalities, voices in his soul telling him to change his name to the symbol. A lot of it was whack. And when all this was going down, it was much easier to accept his lashing out against the fans because he was a damn mess. But now.....?

Now? Now, he's still just as crazy as he ever was.

If you're crazy - and want everyone to therefore be as crazy as yourself - i suppose it's easier to stomach.

If you're happy and peaceful, that's what you wish for the world around you.

I personally have no problem with anything has done recently... it has been interesting to observe the reactions of his more fanatical fam-base. Seems to me it's about a lot more than Prince!
