everlasting now "It feels like a revelation, a realization...the answer. That concept of the everlasting now".
I love this quote, and I actually love this whole interview from Giant. It must be awesome to feel music like that, just completely become one with the music you are making. Dreamy.

He has brilliantly coined a phrase to sum up the idea of spiritual paradise, which begins now and goes straight on into the future...
I love this song. | |

It's from the Jehovah witness's Bible. Are you a witness? He's singing of 'Everlasting life' which is their doctrine. [Edited 12/3/07 3:40am]

[Edited 12/3/07 3:40am] I'm JW. Prince totally invented this expression, "Everlasting Now." It's not in any Bible.

It is truly a beautiful affirmation 2 declare paradise...It is like taking Heaven by force. The Everlasting Now! Solid as the Rock. "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

I didn't take "everlasting now" as a JW quote. I thought it was beautiful and right on. I am a yoga teacher, a Mom, a vegetarian, but not a JW. HOWEVER, I really felt what he was saying and I don't think you have to be JW to be inspired by that quote. It doesn't matter so much what lens he or anyone is speaking thru, inspiration and positivity are docrine free.

We typically call it the Present Moment, or being present. If you listen to the lyrics of the song, the description is very much in tune with deep meditation. Very cool. I definitely love this song.

The Buddhists have the right idea about many things. We were made to live in the moment, and live forever.
