I'm inclined to say no. But I guess ultimately it would depend on the songs.
I mean, Planet Earth?, all in falsetto?

Camille? Yes.
Falsetto? No. In general I don't like Prince's falsetto songs or his slow jams (which are mostly in falsetto).

Honestly, I don't think the author would have a major problem that I went beyond his inquiry...unbelievable, ...what can I say..arrest me for my opinion [Edited 12/3/07 13:15pm]

I love Prince's falsetto. It's one of his many trademarks. [Edited 12/3/07 15:46pm]

No. I can only take the falsetto in small doses these days. It doesn't sound like it did 25 years ago.

The official tracklist for the Camille album that was going to come out in '87 is: 1. Rebirth of the Flesh 2. Housequake 3. Strange Relationship 4. Feel U Up 5. Shockadelica 6. Good Love 7. If I Was Your Girlfriend 8. Rock Hard in a Funky Place Rebirth remains unreleased. Housequake, Strange Relationship, and If I Was Your Girlfriend all ended up on Sign O The Times. Rock Hard in a Funky Place got put on The Black Album, Feel U Up was the B-Side to the Partyman single from the Batman soundtrack, Shockadelica became the B-Side to the If I Was Your Girlfriend single, and Good Love got released on the soundtrack to the movie "Bright Lights, Big City". Additionally, U Got The Look from Sign O The Times is a Camille track, as is Scarlet Pussy which was the B-Side to the Eye Wish U Heaven single from Lovesexy. There are no other official Camille songs. [Edited 12/6/07 10:29am] |
