It was so much easier to accept the BS when he was going crazy.

There is really no room for argument that the whole /prince\ years were due to a mental breakdown on Prince's part. He was literally losing his mind in those years. Look at the darkness of the music, the makeup and dress of parts of the slave years. There was a point where he was practically in whiteface, dark scary eye makeup, thin and gaunt and angry. This is an example:

There are more drastic images out there but you get my drift. It was simply much easier to accept his ranting when he was literally going crazy. At least there was an excuse for it. I wish Prince wouldn't have ruined the momentum of such a great year with ridiculousness.

clapping Doesn't it drive you crazy that you can know the color and exact count of all your partner's ball hairs, i.e. everything about them, and they act like they are dealing with a stranger years into the relationship? stfu At least that is my ordeal lol

The only problem with the 94/95 period was the music took too long to come out. There was one bootleg during that time that got me so hyped up and so into Prince. It was a bunch of Come/Gold songs as well as the live show Prince did (Interactive, Days of Wild, etc). I loved that bootleg so much. When Come came out in August 1994, I was disappointed that he changed the title song again and there weren't any of the rock songs. The the next, Gold came out but still no Interactive, Endorphinmachine was messed up, and the album was way too produced. But the material he did during those years was spectacular nonetheless. I love that band! Plus The Undertaker. Man, what a time to be a true fan.

Damn! When was I rocking that hairstyle? hmmm I think it was around 95, 96... if there were still the images of Prince in the Org gallery categorized by year, I could tell you with the quickness but yeah...Prince is a party poop...so now I've got to go and try to find the pics I had taken of me from that era, but by that time another all knowing Orger will have answered your question. pout

GOTH.

DRAG.

QUEEN!

clapping Perfect! lol That is the exact description. One who wears outfits with tit high waists and Liza Minelli's hairdo. :awesome: Man, there was a boot with a questionmark on top of his image, I think poor-goo and the other undertaker stuff was on there but it wasn't the undertaker. He is all dragged out in that shit lol

Back in the 90s, at least you could get behind this crazy person and know why exactly they were losing their minds. Battling a giant. Lots of it totally unfair. But now.....all he has to do is get on the business of making killer music and we'd be giving him what he really wants and that is money. Just dumb to start this battle with his own fans.

Anyhow, I thought this was an interesting observation how someone looking from the outside would come to this conclusion while years later, Prince doesn't seem crazy. Just a crises I think... and some have gone through that, matter of fact lots of people go through that. Makes me think of a saying, that mere oppression will make even a wise one act crazy, there's so many forms of hard times in life that can affect a person. People looking from the outside in, wouldn't understand that.

I'd argue our Hero's just as fucking crazy now as he ever was. Perhaps even moreso. Do normal clothes really make that effective of camouflage? Lil Dude may be sportin suits and fedoras nowadays (boring! IMO) instead of waist cinchers and bolero jackets, but he's still a wingnut.
