One of the issues concerning the strike is the writers demand that they be compensated for telvisions shows that are re-broadcast on the net.
I think that is the reason for the story being on 3121.

intresting part for me is that for writers, they have the solodarity of their union and their peers,
for someonelike a musician,... they're on their own, not only that, they have fruity fans than want evrything for free if they can get it.

Maybe he'll write them a song. Not so much for the strike, but because they're the "little people" and this ongoing issue effects them and will continue to, even after the strike. At least this way, his actions don't seem so selfish.
