Hey I was listening to the song today, and I really want to know what it is. I am not very familiar with the bible, and I was hoping that maybe somebody on the org can help me out? I have always loved that song, but not really sure what he means. His music can be complex sometimes, especially for those who aren't up on their bible studies. Thanks in advance.

If so, my guess would be the ladder that leads to Heaven. but that's just a guess.

I always thought that "The Ladder" was about Prince having his cat stuck in a tree.
