I just managed to get ahold of the Crystal Ball cd which came with the Truth. I have to say Im loving it, the Truth album is awesome, very raw sounding, the power of Princes vocals on the Truth and Dont Play me are truly amazing.

Anyone else loving this stuff?

Yes, it is awesome, I play it alot.

It really brings out the best in Prince's acoustic guitar and vocal capability.

Amazing cd. I love it. Although, I must say that it contains the worst song he's ever written (animal kingdon ) - the rest is awesome.

Yes, great cd. Stands out among most of the stuff released in the past ten years, along with TRC.

Showcases two of his strengths that people don't always notice--his rhythm guitar playing and his harmonies.

I'd like to hear something even less polished, however. Maybe include a real acoustic piano, no synths, no drum machines.

I love that track. Yeah the subject matter is odd, but it has a mood which makes it the highlight of the album imo.

I got mine off ebay-from a U.S seller it worked out quite well with the pound being worth so many dollars. I got it for about 18 pound which I thought was a steal since some of them go for around 40 pound.

I love the way that Prince sings with the guitar when he say's...ain't no mfin, mfin, mfin'.. piece of pie.....yeah....Prince's sense of humor gets me everytime.

One of his very best, imo.
