I am listening to itunes on shuffle and every other song is Prince. Lots of stuff I haven't heard in a long time like Controversy, 17 Days, Slow Love, Thieves, etc.
I don't think I have the whole collection burned to mp3's yet, I wonder how many days/hours everything released would amount to?

As much as I look forward to the latest, we have all this music to listen to and appreciate.

Some cat who interviewed Prince a few months ago said he had a few DAYS worth of Prince music on his ipod.

Out of over 1000 songs on my mp3 player 700 are Prince, or some other incarnation of him. It is a lot of great music. I like to listen to his music alphabetically by the titles. I takes about a week to get through them. I'm still missing the Black Album and most bootlegs.

He's very impressive... I think I knew that he was, but the man is full of surprises. Even now, I'm still uncovering things about him by just listening to the music.

makes me want to say "Prince has all this music, I've no need for other artists"... but I think I was on my last legs as far as collecting music goes. There's few things around anymore that I can listen to and enjoy. Once I resort to just buying a new album every year when he releases something new, that'll be it for me. I'll never give so much attention to any other artist because Prince is exhausting on his own.
