I love how Prince links each song together..."The Rainbow Children" has so much visual imagery that accompanies the enjoyment of the music....

And although Prince has the talent to go another direction..."The Rainbow Children" leaves you hanging....If it wants 2. We as listeners, can wonder how this new generation of people will reorganize.

A Rainbow Revelation kind of theme. Just an idea. Where would u go with the story, if the Rainbow Children continued?

How bout the bannished ones are forgiven, welcomed back and with a new understanding that if we were all created by god we'll all be returning to God

That album is musically wonderful; a masterpiece in fact but the lyrics are disgusting, hateful, dogma

Prince is basically saying if you don;t follow Jehovah then you are banished.

It is true historically that one cannot serve two masters....eventually u have to follow love...and that concept is how Prince ended the album....I was trying to acknowlege the fact that forgiveness would be the last link in the chain when it comes to total unification...
If anyone could put that to music Prince could.

Accurate knowledge of christ and the father? What are you kidding me. He;'s saying he is right and everyone else is wrong. On the shows 2001-2003 he was telling people what bible to read; saying all others were inferior.

I have listened to bootleg audio of prince saying at a show; women must know their place'. I swear to the creator of man and my family this is true!

If u say to yourself that "Purple Rain" became a classic movie, 4 what it is...Imagine the musical movie Prince could do with "The Rainbow Children."

It is a masterpiece even if it provokes controversy...Prince has his own agenda I realize, however...Prince accomplished an evangelical approach to rock and roll through this concept. I salute him 4 it.
