the night when prince played best guitar solos what concert by prince you have heard or witnessed
and you were blown away with his solos? if somebody asked me this before 2002 i would say small club. but since 2002 i heard a lot of great guitar playing concerts by prince so my pick is los angeles one nite alone tour i think that date is 4th of april. every solo was crazy and prince shreaded a lot. he extended xenophobia song 3 or 4 minutes more then usual. | |

the highlight and revelation for me at the O2 concerts I went to was definitely Prince's guitar solos - didn't expect that at all - and i wasn't particularly into Prince or guitar before I went - but I am now. I would have to agree with you on this one. I went to all the Musicology concerts here in chicago & every night he had me in awe with his guitar playing.. almost felt hypnotized watching/listening to him. Sometimes I would rather just watch & listen to him play the guitar & nothing else, he's so talented! Can't say I feel the same way about any other artist...  | |

I completely agree - "Shh" on the 9th September was amazing at the O2 and was one of my highlights of the whole concert. Another of my favourite solos was when he did "Joy in Repetition" at the aftershow party,,, I knew that Prince was an amazing musician but to stand 6 feet away from him whilst doing his amazing solos was mindblowing! I think I actually spent the whole of the aftershow party in shock...  "I'm so funky I can't even sleep with myself"... Prince 9th September aftershow party | |

my memory isn't so good.
i remember being AWED at the Purple Rain concert electric guitar-wise in 1984. the LoveSexy Tour & One Night Alone tours stand out as FAVs & kinda random 
i loved the acoustic segment in the Musicology Tour cause he de-mystified himself. he came across as a regular kinda guy w/a sense of humor. and i was surprised by his warmth & sort of everyday humble nature. | |

I saw the opening night of Musicology, at the theatre. The whole show was great...when I saw Musicology live...there were problems that night. I never saw Prince's face. His profile was all. I will never forget March of '06 at Club Mansion when the man played Beautiful Strange right in front of my face!  I was floored...BEAUTIFUL STRANGE, PEOPLE!!!!!
