I go by my impressions when I first listened to all these songs, and I remember how those songs seemed a bit flimsy, even annoying to me and many people around me when we were first listening to those albums/songs on record and cassette.

But when I first heard Splash on the music club, it seemed very vibrant, catchy, unique, emotional, and full of effort: in the mix, arrangement, melody, and with lyrics that rang true, not contrived.

It's better for my interest than America, Life Can Be So Nice, Do You Lie, Temptation, The Ladder...
