I was lucky enough to see it from the front row of 4 occasions (the "Good" side of the round stage!). I'll never forget it when Prince came and sat on the front of the stage (no camera pit!) right in front of me and cut my hand with a flying broken guitar string while he performed "If I had a harem/When you were mine". That's quite some memory. I had a little moment right at the end as he and the ladies clambered onto the car and started to circle the stage (end of Alphabet St). I looked up at him and made a cross with my fingers and he looked right in my eyes, smiled and did the same thing back to me. I was pretty agnostic by then, but I sure as hell believed in Prince that night.  | |

First time I saw Prince was the opening night of the SOTT tour; I have never been so excited my life as during the opening guitar solo... unless possibly the second night when I went again... Prince loved Stockholm so much he even came back to that Godforsaken part of Europe next year again for Lovesexy!!
Now I have moved to London to ensure I still get my fix... (he hasn't toured Scandinavia in years)... how sad is that... | |

I didnt get to see him live until 1990, and I loved that concert when it came out on VHS. I met a guy, way back then, and when he told me he had seen the Lovesexy Tour - I think I fancied him instantly, lol. Kept pestering him to tell me all about it, poor guy, I think he thought I was insaine. That whole time brings back very very happy memories for me | |
