Funky London post on 3121.com from 3121.com
Funky London Prince’s 21-night, sold-out stand at the O2 in London received the top Boxscore award at the fourth annual Billboard Touring Awards (source: Billboard.com). Thank u once again 2 Funky London 4 making this past summer a truly un4gettable xperience. Cheers Prince, the gigs especially the aftershows, really were amazing and I've seen quite a few top acts live, but think your gigs were prob the best I'll see [Edited 11/21/07 14:51pm]

Anyone else have to stand there and sigh on that last night when they saw those big electronic signs rolling a thank you note to Prince outside?

Oh don't, I can't bear it, it makes me miss him all over again, it's bad enough on a normal day
Great to read him thanking us again though eh? You know, I think he really did love his time here Come back soon Prince..... [Edited 11/21/07 15:15pm]

I KNOW! I was thinking of going up there to see the Tutenkamen (sorry spelling!) thing, but I know my heart will sink when I get there and .... No Prince Wouldn't it be great if he did every summer at Indigo2? Like just at the weekends or something?

It would be great but I'd sure have to work hard all through the rest of the year because I wonder if we'd ever be treated to £31.21 or £25 for an aftershow ever again! Glad I made the most of it when I could

i cant believe its been 2 months since i was standing in the Indigo2 aka 3121 waiting for the last aftershow feels like forever (maybe not forever but you get the idea) and london doesnt seem 1/2 as funky since he left
Come back soon Mr P cos 'Oh Funky Paris/Holland/Rome/Australia/Somewhere in the US' doesnt sound nearly as good as 'Oh Funky London' With Love there is no Death

Heeeyy Funky LONDON! Yep b3xy doesn't sound as good with another city name... thats not me saying that cause I'm in the UK, just can't hear it right in my head with another... maybe it wont be 'oh funky' before it, so London will stay known as 'the' funky place!

Come back Prince
I went to see George Clinton at the indigo the other week. It just didn't feel right, no big crowds, plenty of space on the tube home and no "Thank you Prince" lights outside Heeeeeyyyy funky London just brings it all flooding back Well done though Prince oh mama I wish I could resist ...

Shallow! Philistine! Prince needs to come back to his house.....soon.....

Shallow! Philistine! Prince needs to come back to his house.....soon..... it was a good gig but it lacked things that i had got used 2 at Prince aftershows firstly it seemed short he was on stage with his band for about 90mins it could have been less i cant remember exactly and the shakespeare thing took the strangeness to a whole other level and the fact it was all over by 11pm was even weirder and you left to emptyness, i never thought the O2 could seem so strange but that being said it was a good gig it was the first time i had seen Maceo with his own band and i would definately go again if i got the chance. His flute playing was brilliant and yeah Prince needs to get back to his house soon! With Love there is no Death

You should see the scum who live round my way. There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently
