The concept of children being concieved to music.

It is amazing to me, to imagine, all of the lover's of the world, making love, and on occasion, concieving a child...Wouldn't it be amazing to have a study done, on the children as they grew, based on this information.

Do you think many children have been concieved to Prince music? I honestly don't know...I really didn't listen to Prince music during these encounters...Prince music may have existed in my bedroom occassionally, however I purposely seperated these experiences.

However, I did concieve a child to one of Jonathan Butler's cd's, and I was able to tell him...He didn't know what to say. I didn't either. Cute man.

Are any of you aware of this? and if so? have you ever planned a pregnancy based on music?

Mmmm, bit of an embaressing subject. I guess I would play partyman if I wanted to produce a funky litte boy and pink cashmere if i wanted to produce a funky little girl.

Fortunatley (for me) my wife hasn't expessed any wish to have kids yet.

Very interesting thread.

Hey Squirrel, I've been listening to Prince since 1979. I know most of his music, I happen to be unfamiliar with the bootleg stuff. Because I knew when the next Prince record was coming into the store.

And, I could probably sing and dance along, until u got tired.

I am a person that knows the majority of lyrics to a wide variety of music.
I have listened to the radio, almost everyday, for thirty years.

he was probably massively creeped out, that's why. lol if you honestly think the music playing in the background when a kid is conceived has any effect on them as they grow up...wow. falloff

I hope you understand that I said concept. It's just a psychological discussion. I know that through photography we find that a drop of water that is photographed under different circumstances, changes formation. Music was a part of that study. Our bodies are for the majority made up of water.

Jonathan Butler was a little shy is all. I can only say that about one child, that I have had. There are definitely other people in the world, that would know.

Embarrassingly I'm going to admit, that Steve from Blue's Clues ruined my sex life. The kids were watching Blue's Clues in the other room, and husband and I decided it was time to spend some time together, and right in the middle, "Head, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes...." Worst thing was we both started singing the song without thinking about it, and then fell into a fit of giggles. Ruined the moment let me tell you. But no kid was conceived. Pity, they might have become a chiropractor or a doctor.

one of my friends made me a slow prince cd and i used it to relax, to get freaky, and also used it to relax when I had my first son, and still listen to it today. He was almost named Prince but the father would not go for it so I called him my lil prince Dillon and his first picture is in a Prince frame.

I don't ever want to be queen b/c if I'm queen, there's always someone younger and faster than I am to knock me off my thrown and take my place...I will forever be a princess...That's it! I settled it!!!! hmph!

Oh of course I can see babies being conceived off of Prince music. He made alot of sexy songs back in the day. My daughter was not conceived off of a Prince song but lately I've been listening to him alot so if my husband and I were to ever have another child I wouldn't be surprised if an old Prince joint was playing in the background.lol
