A thief in the temple by Brian Morton

I just stumbled across this book in a shop in Amsterdam. As I've never bought a biography of Prince before, I thought to just risk it and bought it. Has anyone read this book, if so, what did you think of it? I hate wasting my time on crappy reads.

My friend bought this for me for my birthday and I honestly can't believe how awful is it. I mean, what was the point of it? The title implies that there will be some kind of narrative on how Prince is a thief.. but instead is just full of inaccuracies that my little sister could correct just from living with me all these years!

Yeah, why would you bother reading a thread called "Buyer beware: Brian Morton's new book, Prince: A Thief In The Temple, is a complete waste of time and money". I mean, obviously that thread isn't gonna contain anything worthwhile. Hell, it's probably not about the book at all, but about fairies and butterflies and pixies and rainbows.

A thread that can be found via http://www.google.com/sea...ief+temple -- I must be some kind of genius to come up with those search terms.

Maybe not about butterflies and pixies and rainbows and stuff... but a bit too much about orgers and their way to communicate, in my opinion.

Anyway, I've read the thread. Your opinion is very outspoken and clear. Maybe it would indeed be a waste of time to read the book.

Btw, thanks for your kindness. confused That's why I avoid this forum I guess, anytime you ask something people act like you're a complete moron. Sorry you wasted your time answering this thread.

No it isn't. It's about the book, and some stalkers decide to screw things up. But the vast majority of the thread is about the book.

It isn't my opinion, it's about FACTS.

Look at the google query. Was it so bloody hard for you to do the same query before starting yet another thread on this subject? Don't wanna feel like you're being treated as a moron? Don't behave like one.

The book sucks, end of.

Buy "DanceMusicSexRomance" by Per Nilsen, instead.

I bought it for collectors sake and was shocked at the inaccuracies of it.
