After further consideration, I've decided to support what the owners of this site choose to do. So I'll support what ever they want. I don't really care what Prince wants because Prince is going to be fine one way or another. He's already made his fortune and will continue to do what he's always done. I'm not so sure if I will continue to support him, but I'm sure Prince isn't losing any sleep over it. However,if the owners here choose to "delete" Prince, fine. If they don't, fine. I ain't going anywhere.

As far as being a "fam" of Prince's, he's not part of my family and I'm not part of his. He’s not even a friend: he is a public figure-an artist who has made a lot of money off directly or indirectly not only his music, but his image, including but not limited to one of a rebellious social commentator--even a sort of provocateur through his lyrics. His music, his image, and his antics have given me a lot of joy (?) over the years, but I don't owe him a damn thing just as much as he doesn't owe me anything either. In the final analysis we had a "business" arrangement--not a personal one. Would he come to my aid if I were in trouble? I think not.

So I'm not going to make my "relationship" to Prince any more than it is--even though the use of the word "fam" attempts to appeal to our need to belong. As far as Prince and probably most all other artists, the reference to "family" in any way is simply a marketing ploy--even treading upon "cult-like" territory: in Prince's "family," for example, the unconditional love is only one-sided with the members of his "fam" being the givers when the going gets tough. That doesn't seem quite fair or realistic. It seems to me, a person can only be a part of Prince's family on his terms, and that's not usually how family's operate.

But if even it were possible, lawsuits among "family" members or between friends usually cause irreparable damage. So after this current tirade, maybe his image isn’t worth much to a number of fans--former fams-- even to the point their appreciation of his music is impacted? More often than not, Prince can’t have it both ways even though the law might protect him in certain respects. Consequently,he’s going to lose this war even though he might be able to win a few battles. That’s his choice. If he wants to play hardball, fine. But in the long-run, that ball is going to come back and hit him in the face. Now as far as how much he'll be "injured," that remains to be seen.

Hey.. maybe the owners should rename this site: The Online Fan Community, Formerly Known as prince.org, or would that be a copyright violation, too?

Rather Prince getting his way or not, he is in the entertainment industry! There is criticism EVERYWHERE! And he hasnt picked on any of the celebs that mock Prince on SNL! I say WTF!When the little man CAN sue the celebs for making fun/mocking him THEN AND ONLY THEN I will believe he can take our constitutional right away from us even saying his name!But yet picks on a single mother for having "Lets Go Crazy" playing in the background.He is contradicting himself to no end.

IMHO, he(Prince) is digging a grave of his own rather he wants to deny it or not! One minute Prince is preaching the word of JW and the next suing his fans or other websites for even saying or typing his name.WTF! Am I reading this right? (scrolls back to first post) YEP IT IS!

If Prince wants to be "erased" from the net of pictures,videos, and the like I say he should "GET OUT!" of the music industry, and go find life or whatever the hell he is trying to prove or find out on a nature hike(sort to speak).

This is the internet/information age! EVERYTHING in the world is on the net! The little man should grow up/wake up and join the "real world" instead of living in dreamland where he is NOW.

So NO! Lets NOT give him anything he wants like a the crying baby he is acting like right now!
