Somewhere here on earth..Greatest Prince Ballad? Guys I can't stop listening to this track, just so beautiful. Who was at the last show at the 02? How good was that performace of this track?

agree, very beautiful version, but i would not go as far as calling it his greatest, beautiful horn section, specially the trumpet playing, exquisite If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

Aye, it's one of them. And when Prince's life work is reassessed objectively and rationally one day in the (hopefully) far future, I'm pretty confident Planet Earth will be acclaimed as an overlooked mid-period gem. Ugh, how conservative and furtively bold of me, these words, that opinion. I agree, however, with me. Well done. | |

One of his GREATEST I think... it does potential to go very far.
And I think its the one song on Planet Earth that nearly everyone is unanimous in liking it... more like :luv:ing it. It's my 2nd favorite track on the album because its the best done... but my favorite track is just a personal favorite  had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong.
