Despite what's happening with his actions in stopping the bootleggers in their tracks, I really can't hold a grudge towards my #1 hero. He's just too important to me and my life and love for music. I can't ever forget the inspiration and joy he gave me with his music and media. So I just look at this whole lawsuit thing as a bump in the road. Or maybe like a parent that's putting me on punishment or something. That's all.

He's gotten me through a lot in my life and has given me a lot of hope. He's also inspired me as a black musician that does whatever he wants to do. So in that sense he's pretty heroic.

And I don't believe Prince is that selfish and disrespectful to his fans. I've seen worse. Look at Axl Rose.

But the point is I can't completely write Prince off because of this bump in the road. That would be like wanting to forget the impact the man has had on me. If you feel that Prince broke the camel's back with this whole situation and hate him for it, then that's your problem. That just means Prince probably wasn't that important to you to begin with.
