It's a photograph book. It's mentioned in the liner notes for Come. From what I understand about it, a photographer who covered Jesse Jackson's '88 presidential campaign was contacted by Prince to cover his European tour. I was just curious what the photos were like and if there was other content in the book.

It was part of a aftershow featuring Prince with Special guest

It was the last aftershow of the Act II tour at Bagley's Warehouse in London '93, right after he changed his name.
Prince and the NPG, Mavis Staples, and the Steeles. What stood out for me was Call The Law and Peach. Levi's guitar was pretty decent on House In Order as well. Very energetic. The video is an edit. Would have liked to have seen the whole aftershow.

I've been trying to get hold of a copy of this book for ages...but the price whenever I've seen it has been a bit steeped. I think if memory serves me correct the photogrpaher was a chap called Terry Gydesen. It had the same front cover as used on the CD track Letitgo.

Thanks for the responses. I always liked the idea that Prince had a song, video, and book called The Sacrifice of Victor at the same time he was changing his name. I've seen the book offered for around $200 and up, so I'm not planning to buy it anytime soon, but I'd love to know more about its contents. Thanks.

I watched this video last week possibly for the first time ever. I know many people just love anyfink wif Prince in - especially from an aftershow! - but I thought it was painful.

Not quite as painful as The Undertaker, mind you!

Man, what a ghastly double bill of Prince videos that was.
