His music talents are amazing. Him having such a vocal range and being able to play so many instruments. As a person, I admire his confidence and not letting the critics get to him. I get criticized every day and nearly crack under the pressure. Nothing fazes this guy, haha. What I really admire is his dedication to his art. He lives and breathes music. I've never seen that in anyone before. And I think he's helped define what it really means to be a musician. He has such a closeness with the music that he can manipulate it to express his feelings and emotions the only way he knows how. That's an amazing, admirable talent if you ask me. I admire Prince’s ability to win new fans.
My brother-in-law was never too bothered for Prince. He couldn’t understand why people went to multiple shows. So I said, look, here’s 4 tickets for the 1st Sept show at the O2, go with an open mind, Happy Birthday. He took his girlfriend, and two friends’ and they had an amazing night. He couldn’t get over the love the fans showed. He was a little pissed when his girlfriend said Prince was very sexy. Since then he has brought SOTT and Musicology. They all liked Planet Earth, They said it was fresh sounding, and not like anything else around in the charts. | |

Besides this being my opinion of what I admire most about Prince, sure he has talent. But to me a lot of musicians have talent, but I've come to learn that Prince in particular has a lot of talent, I didn't know that until I started to really come here about a month or 2 ago. What really caught my attention was his spirituality because a person in his position in the world scene must have strong faith to endure public ridicule about his newfound faith. I'm not downgrading any other thing about him but just saying, I admire the more enduring quality that will have more value in the end. (just my op)  | |

Like a lot of the responses here, so I wanted to respond to a couple I agree with and forgot in my first response.
His drive... that's definitely something to consider. Perservence, confidence, that whole sha-bag... wish I had that, but then again, I still don't have a clue what to do with my life 
His creativity, definitely. I'm a creative person myself, so naturally I admire others with more creativity than I could possibly have. As far as coming up with different melodies and 1000's of different lyrics for all of these songs, that's something I could never do if I could live forever or in my wildest dreams. And of course, his style. Prince is a metro-sexual if there ever was one. Creativity also goes into designing his own outfits. Love all of the different things he wears. And he knows how to accessorize all the way down to his high heels had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone | |

I've always love his "I don't give a fuck" attitude. The fact that he's willing to be different. Even in his more conservative way, he still stands out and that's so incredible to me that he still has it like that after almost 30 years. Prince is the man!  I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

I admire, absolutely am in awe of his musicianship...right from the jump, this cat had it.
I admire his work ethic...while others were sleeping, he was bakin' hits. I admire his style...come on....a 5'3" black man in high heels...and a total badass too! My hat's off to ya brotha. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |
