yep, that was the little ditty about the wetsack Quincy jones and his dumb efforts to save the world, to which there is alot of info on a thread not far from here, the 12" version is even better,  If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

the 12 inch version is the only version, I can't stand those Hits/B Sides edits true, makes you wonder what sort of a nutter not only releases b-sides that are now and again better than what he actually releases, but also goes to the trouble of doing extended versions of them, total genius and then the public and fans have the balls to say he is greedy, at least he didnt release 7 singles off a 9 track album If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

I agree. When I first heard it I assumed that it was dissing Mani (or another ex). I don't think it's dissing the fans - "Smiling at my friends when you really hate 'em" seems too personal. | |
