I just received an email from for another band I dig, Buckcherry, and their most recent album "15" is about to be released on MVI.....

What is MVI you ask?..... Well essentially it is a multimedia CD that is actually in DVD format.... :confused: Well since it is in DVD format, you can add TONS of multimedia files without needing additional CD's to hold said information.

For example... the Buckcherry album will also have all the trax in mp3 format, the videos that were made for the released singles, ringtones, midi's, wallpapers, lyrics....etc..... everything you could ever ask for and in a convenient small package....

This brings me to Prince missing the boat.... it may be simply a matter of time before he releases similar packages, but as for now, he keeps adding stuff to that damned vault..

Can you imagine a re-release of Planet Earth, that had the songs in mp3 format, wallpapers, lyrics and the videos rumored to have been shot for the album, i.e. SHOE, T1UWC and whatever else may have been shot.....

This seems to be a logical next step for our lil marketing tornado....shit, you could feasably release a lot of old stuff, compiled with the videos....

Awwwww.... who are we kidding.... this stuff will never see the light of day....
