I tried 2 stay away from the org cuz 2 much anger & hateful stuff but I must b a sad biatch addict so here I am again

I’ve tried 2 get some perspective on why I was feeling so hateful & posting dodgy comments!

It occurred 2 me that there r people GRIEVING over this situation. Feeling a sense of loss 4 something.

I saw prince in london & had 2 b dragged 2 the concert. I even turned down aftashow tickets which I think I will regret 4eva!.

I left the show with an energy tht I can’t describe or understand & had not felt tht high since my days at uni..

I found myself downloading at an alarming rate & saving as...
I was ‘shakin my mf do loose’ (I am british u know - a southerner at that...)
I have even been singing along 2 when doves cry even tho I’d always hated it, & THEN logged in2 the princeorg!



My joy was short lived cuz then I felt loss.

I lost the energy which was squashed in a second when prince threatened the site.

I lost respect 4 prince who I thought must b near on perfect - the guy that can multi task & sings about love with sooo much passion, wanting 2 do his duty there & managing 22 positions in a one nite stand
Fancies himself as a holy man, u know, morals, dedication, compassion, respect, studies the bible, etcetc... (ok, I can’t imagine him doing the laundry, but I could overlook that)
Someone tht can turn out music tht even at first if u think it’s shite, u end u liking it the end (I was determined not 2 like PFUnk)

He’s impressive, but not perfect. My fantasy was shattered!
(oh come on! us girls r allowed)

Suddenly he has turned in2 Bob George & has become a party pooper. He wants 2 rape the fan sites!

could it b that some reactions r down 2 the grieving process? - Denial, anger, depression & finally acceptance.
People cope differently & may be at various stages. B reassured it’s perfectly normal response & it’s cool 2 discuss upset & vent anger.

I’ve almost letitgo & accepted the present situation. my energy is returning thanks 2 the pics thread by the gold exp & screaming along 2 some classic tunes

I think everybody was very angry at first including myself, but things seem to be cooling off a little bit, I urge you to really look at the situation and put things into perspective of what this has got to do with you and your life personally. If you turned your computer off and nothing in your life had changed, then I guess Prince really hasn't done anything to you has he? If you came back and enjoyed the picture thread as you said, (as have I) then you really want to be a Prince fan, right?!
