Agreed! Prince comes out with one funky song, and some people choose to ignore the fact that Prince doesn't care about what his fans think about him. Just listen to the lyrics!

He doesn't need us anymore, he has enough money to retire! I do however remember a time in the very early stages of his career, where Prince was more
humble and appreciative.
Back then he was even appreciative, when Warner Brothers signed him. WB gave him the opportunity he needed to break through! Before WB, Prince was just another poor, struggling musician, whose name didn't mean anything in the music- business.
How quick people forget where they came from.

I can't stand bully's, and I most definitely will not celebrate them. It's like he has slapped fans in the face and they are cheering about it. I don't get it.

I know we all have different opinions on this,but I don't believe this has anything to do with money. If it did, don't you think by now Prince's attorneys would have sued all of the sites. So far only c & d letters about copyright infringement have been sent from what I've read.

Also Prince doesn't have to keep giving the fans a Jam Of The Week (song or video). Of course I appreciate it as do many others,but he could remain silent and have nothing on 3121.com. He is an intelligent man and he knows the music will eventually be bootlegged. So why is he still giving to everyone through all of this!

Prince generally sets a precedent in the music industry by his actions, he's done it before and others musicians learn from his actions. I wonder what the consensus is by his peers about all of this?

Also when the fan sites banned together and put a logo of a huge hand with PFU, everyone knew what they were saying to Prince! Yes it was a "dis" to Prince,and in Prince's sarcastic witty humor he delivered a response in a funky song.

Prince has struggled and worked hard for everything he has today,so this is just another reason why he feels his image needs protection. So far the three sites still remain and everyone is still saying what they want,be it positive or negative.
