Wow ...this is a strong case of the abusive partner (who is fine as hell and can fuc* great in bed) and everyone is totally forgetting what this site (and others like it)/die hard fans is STILL in the middle of
Ill give it to him..the song is really funky..but the SaME people that were saying negative things on the PFU board and now saying they totally forgive him over a single SONG?? C'now..no wonder Prince gets away with murder. He could kill your dog and then to make it up to you bake u a cake (that sings of course!) and alot of people here would take the cake and kiss the dog goodbye! 
I'm stickin to my story : Good song..but I'm not that impressed. A statement would be Great IF not needed in order to keep this fan in positive light of him. Might catch a concert now and again or skim over one of his albums..but I'm not as into him as a use to be. He was just here violating peoples use of his pictures, pictures in his likeness and peoples own tatoos and NOW he's having u eating out of his hand like..i dunno a Paraceet ...are u guys paraceets?? Abusive partner? Just a tad hyperbolic? Yeah the drama's fucked up, but I can't bring myself to get riled up by Prince of all fucking people. It's just not that serious. Maybe, a couple of decades ago, but not anymore.

For some reason, there are a number of fans who wrongly think that Prince recording in a speeded up voice = Camille. Camille was a character invented by P in 86 for a specific project/time period. Camille sings in both a high (U Got the look) and Low (scarlet pussy). However, some people keep trying to lump all sped up vocal tracks under the camille banner (ie Pfunk, Come On, Erotic City, Love or Money etc). It was probably done out of convenience in the mid 90's so that fans could make up whole 16 track "Camille" CDRs, but the fact is... Speeded up voice does not equal Camille!  . |
