I can see it coming.He is setting himself up to be booed if/whenever he appears at an evnt or award presentation.This is going to be so embarrasing for Prince fans.
I know he has is reasons for doing what he is doing (youtube...website)but come on man cant he let a decade pass without fucking up?He was on the verge of being accepted as normal again & now this.i think Prince fans have the most fucked up journey.Man Just make music and move on.You are still the bast at that.

Is it too much to ask that you actually THINK before you post. I clearly was not talking about valid criticism. What I did write, seeing as it needs spelling out for you, is that there has been much hyperbole over the years with sensationalist predicitions of the end of Prince's career and apparently monumental mistakes that he will never recover from. They've all been wrong and this current episode here on the .org is just yet another example. This is not criticism, they are not opinions formed on facts, they are suppositions, hearsay and irrational emotional outbursts.

Genuine criticism, considered debate and well-thought out arguments are entirely valid and welcome, as is fun, laughter and positivity - all of which are rare oases in the growing desert of the org.

whilst i may not agree with much of Princes or whoevers decision it is making this requests i dont feel like people are handling it correctly. What cracks me up about this whole thing is no matter what Prince does he still gets the support he needs. When it comes to his shows he still sales out....no matter how much he charges. He still find ways to push his music & get us to buy it. He still has mad love from the fans who will not trash him even if he is being an asshole at times. As for him being booed. Nahhh! People are happy just to see him show up at the awards. Yeah, you do hate on him for what he is doing... but it never last long.
