How will this "story"continue? What do you think?
Shall the Pfunk-song be Princes only 'personal' reaction on the issue, and shall his lawyers continue the battle against Prince fansites? Or Do you think Prince will come out with a personal, written down or video-taped reaction on the whole issue? A reaction that will offer some light at the end of the tunnel? Personally i think Prince still doesnt get 'it'. The lyrics of the Pfunk-song sound rather defensive to me, like he is feeling he is the victim, the only one who is 'right' in this whole issue. My personal view is that a lot of his die-hard fans have enough of his annoying behaviour, after years and years of defending him, and that Prince himself feels like he is being 'attacked' by people who want to do him 'harm' or something. While most of these fans only ask him to do a 'reality check' IMHO. Just like with the whole WB-Slave-Symbol thing i strongly get the feeling that this recent issues shows that Prince confuses 'business' with the 'personal'. To be more clear: i think that a lot of Princes 'weird behaviour' in public reflects inner, psychological problems he is struggling with. I 'see' a 'lonely boy, bullied in the past, who went trough a troubled childhood, and often acts very arrogant and cocky to hide his own personal insecurity'. I see a man who still acts like that boy: defensive, blaming other people for his problems. Seeing the outside world (whether its in the form of his record company or his fans) as some danger he can't cope with. Hiding himself behind stardom and a dogmatic form of religion. Personally i think this love-hate relationship between Prince and his fans will continue as long as he keeps staying affraid of really growing up. As long as he doesnt really deal with his 'inner demons' and his psychological problems his relationship with his 'fans' will retain a troubled one. I just wanna know WHEN will this story end? It's actually getting funny, when at first it definetly was not, but the clowns are turning it into a circus, and obviously Prince sees it as a joke.

I wonder how much of this psychological 'insight', and I use that term lightly, relates to your very own development, Riverpoet31?

why do you love /hate him? because prince fans are just like him/we are as dramatic and tempermental as he is. i consider it just another lovers quarrel/he can keep his mouth shut just about as much as his fans can/

My guess is...
The 3 sites will agree to a few requests, Prince will withdraw his lawsuit threat, the sites will continue to exist, however heavily watched by Prince's camp. In other words -- another delay of execution. "Don't you think one of the charms of marriage is that it makes deception a necessity for both parties?"

i was wondering if he was letting websheriff make a fool of themselves the song sounds old, saying it sounds like it was made long before this occasion.

my other thought is, who owns the rights to people like Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, James Brown.
Who owns the rights to thier music and images?
